Teachers and staff from Gertrud Luckner Gewerbschule and Hamar katedralskole had an idea about a collaborate project and decided to apply for funding through EU's Erasmus+ programme.

First meeting
27 students from Hamar kateralskole visited Freiburg and Gertrud-Luckner-Gewerbeschule 1st to 6th of May 2022 to start the project. This visit established social relations among students and an awareness about cultural differences and goals of the collaboration.

May 2022
On the 18th of May 2022 the classes met through videoconferencing, moving on with the project.
September 2022
On the 30th of September 2022 the students met in the morning through video conferencing. The groups communicated either using Facetime in the classrooms or chatting on WhatsApp. The main task was to catch up on the creative process and gather the poster ideas and start working on the final layouts.

Second meeting and first poster exhibition
On the 17th of October 2022 13 students from the Norwegian class arrived in Freiburg. They worked on a poster exhibition, opening at the school on the 19th of October.
As a part of the preparation for the next exhibition in Hamar in 2023, they also participated in a workshop arranged by the German teachers and the animator Nico Dörle in how to extend their work into animated poster design using AR-technology.

The students participated in different workshops on 21st of October. They made fonts, learned high speed photography, print with linocut etc.

The final day in Freiburg was spent visiting Vitra Design and sightseeing.
Third meeting and second poster exhibition
Students from Freiburg visited Hamar the 26th of March 2023. During a week in Norway they built a new, digital poster exhibition using both traditional print technology and AR (augmented reality) combined with digital animation. The exhibition opened on the 26th of April in Hamar Cultural Centre (Hamar kulturhus).
